Practice Overview
Our client is a privately owned veterinary urgent care seeking a dedicated veterinary professional to join their dynamic team. They offer a collaborative and supportive environment with access to state-of-the-art equipment, including an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, and anesthesia with oxygen monitoring. With six exam rooms, their team can efficiently provide high-quality care. Ideal candidates are passionate about urgent care, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with their experienced team and contribute to the well-being of the local pet community.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Nurture and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations
- Maintain a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Virginia
- Ability to perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Highly motivated, with a desire to learn and grow
- Urgent Care or Emergency experience is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
