After graduating from the University of Central Florida, Trey dove headfirst into corporate America where his passion for leading teams and love of strategy led him into the automotive industry, where he helped lead the purchasing operations for the one of the largest retailers in the U.S.

Trey’s continued success resulted in him taking on larger teams with more complex operations. Ultimately, living as a road warrior, making cross-country moves every few years. He finally decided life on the road wasn’t as much fun as it looked in the movies and decided it was time for change.

He went back to school and earned his Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, all while working full time and traveling across the country for business meetings. As fate would have it, Trey landed in the same study group as Blair, one of BJU’s founding team members.

With his newfound knowledge and experiences, Trey built a thriving consulting firm to help grow clients and revenue for private practices across America.

With his client’s booming success, most needed to hire additional team members to keep up with the demand. And then it clicked: combine the successful sales and marketing methods to replace the dated recruiting tactics most practices were using. Fate continued to show their hand as his wife Mikaela, a human resources and recruiting expert, shared this vision and joined the BJU team.

Trey’s passion is truly building relationships and helping people grow both personally and professionally. He has built BJU on those principles and lives them every single day.

On the weekends you’ll find Trey shooting hoops on the basketball court or soaking up the sun at the lake. He currently lives in Nashville with his wife, Mikaela, and their fur-child, Merlin.
